Matt Helm: The Ambushers

No time for a full-out post, but here’s a thought for the day: The hell of 500 channels is filled with reruns of Matt Helm movies. Who the hell greenlighted any of these movies?!?

James Bond was half-Scots, half-Swiss, but I’m stranded watching archaic spy spoof The Ambushers and Dean Martin’s Helm spyspoof is some kind of bizarre provolone Cheez Whiz…

Truly inexplicable, for me, is that several of these were made. This one being set in Mexico, it could be the Salsa con Queso flavor of the series.
