Worse than “Reign of the Gargoyles”?

Howard the Duck.

Why? As a comic I’m sure it had its moments– I remember thinking so at the time, though I’ll be damned if I can remember what any of them were. I hoped to see the film just… to see what they did with it. Then I found I couldn’t sit through it.

Ooof.

Stranger than the beer-swilling cigar-smoking guy(s) in the duck suit, though: what is that on Lea Thompson’s head? Was the ’80s really like this?
